The Challenge

This hotel-management company has worked with Foodbuy for several years and was an early adopter of the NPC Powered by Foodbuy produce programs.

This Member was enthusiastic about identifying opportunities in their kitchens through the Foodbuy Culinary Solutions Team. They scheduled and hosted several engagements with specific locations to begin optimizing purchasing with their culinary teams.

Unfortunately, they had many locations across the country, and didn't have the ability to schedule consultations with every location as quickly as they'd like to.

The Member was looking for a solution that would make culinary collaboration more efficient across their portfolio.

The Solution

To reach more of the Members locations faster, Foodbuy Hospitality Account Management, NPC, and the Foodbuy Culinary Solutions Team organized “Regional Chef Meetings” in centralized areas of regions. Chefs from all locations that hadn't yet received a consultation had the chance to attend.

The sessions focused on aligning location chefs with the Member's preferred programs across regional and produce categories, as well as some other categories.

Foodbuy Hospitality's Culinary Team brought product changes to life using Member recipes and techniques. Additionally, several manufacturer representatives attended based on location needs in order to further connect.
